Account and Registration

Impersonation: (1a) When registering to CombatFPS's forums, you are not allowed to choose a name to impersonate any off-site Officials to degrade, or character assassinate said individual. (1b) This also applies to impersonating a current/new member of CombatFPS.com, trying to make an as-close-as-possible resemblance, (1c) especially a Staff Member, will not be tolerated. (p) Attempting to do so will involve immediate modifying of your account/profile,and/or termination of your account along with proper bans to prevent further abuse of our rules.

Multiple Accounts: (2a) The act of multiple accounts being created, no matter the reason is prohibited. You are only allowed one (1) account, per computer/IP. In the case of other users accessing this forum from a public place such as an internet cafe, library, and/or use the site with a sibling and/or other individuals must contact the site owner, if not the Administrators. (p) Not following to do so will regard in termination of extra accounts, as well as the chance of temporary to permanent ban of the first account created.

Proxy(ies): (3a) The same punishment applies to the use of proxies and/or (3b) bypassing/faking your IP.CombatFPS.com respects your privacy, but due to the abuse of proxies on the internet, we simply can not allow this. In the case of any suspicious activity, (p) this violation will top-off any other, resulting in worse punishment and/or legal actions,as CombatFPS.com tries its best to maintain and protect the community as many other communities and forums do. Please respect that, and treat others nicely, and they will treat you the same way respectively.

Terms of Agreement: (4a) As right before registering, you agree to abide by said rules and statements on-top of the above, and below rules in regard of being punished for not doing so. (p) Said punishments, mentioned once again, involve proper modification of account and/or posts, removal and ban from using the forums and web site via force or account termination, and/or proper legal actions provided.

Community Interaction

Profanity: (5a) Using vulgar and inappropriate language will not be tolerated when the use of it is considered offensive, or over general media ratings that are considered appropriate for most (if not all) general audience. (5b) This also applies to further attack another member, as using such language in this manner is not welcomed by both the community and staff members that enforce this rule. (p) By not abiding this rule, you will be warned, your post may be edited to remove the profanity, and depending on how far on a level this rule was broken you may be forcibly removed from the forum. Swears or "bad word(s)" in general are not forbidden on this forum, but the way some are used, strictly are.

Attacking: (5a) Directly "flaming", or attacking another member,regardless of reason is not tolerated in a friendly community. Everyone has their own opinion, and it is best to respect each one, as opinions are not facts and there is more than just one point-of-view on subjects/topics. (5b) This also goes in regard of constant, inappropriately disrespecting a Staff Member, and any member for that matter to deter or degrade that member out of frustration, anger, etc. (p) Doing so will result in warnings, as we try to give people another chance, but you will be removed from the forums for repeated offenses, depending on the severity of content and actions involved.Arguments are not exactly prohibited as many are open-minded and like to debate about different matters, so long as they are appropriate and no personal feelings and pride are hurt in the process. Please respect each others beliefs, as a forum, different opinions, values, and articles of information are shared, and registering as a member here,most likely means you want to participate and share your piece as well as learn and have fun. (5c) Also, attacking the forum itself is not allowed. Proper legal actions, as well as permanent removal from the site itself will be taken,as violating our rules in the sake of posting gore, disturbing,pornographic, spamming and such will be taken in the best way possible to properly dispose of said Attacker.

"Spamming": As a forum member, you are free to post in threads (a.k.a. topics), in reply to posts but some do it in a disruptive way. (2a) Posting multiple times without any other member's reply will be counted as double, triple, or multi-posting which is not tolerated. There is a reason why you can edit posts, so you can add more content, in case no one has a reply under your post, or to update and/or correct what you have previously stated. (2b) Duplicating posts and/or threadsare also forbidden as it clutters up the forum with such, which could be easily and more respectfully read as a single statement. (p) Violating this rule will involve modifying, and/or removing inappropriate posts(a.k.a. replies) to clean up the forum. Repeated offenses will be dealt with being unable to post on the forum, up to a permanent termination of your account. (3a) Another violation of this rule involves replies that are considered useless. If what you have posted, has given no contribution and/or thought, it will only clutter and cover the more important replies the reader(s) are specifically looking for. (p)Loss of respect is also a general, community-involved punishment as less reliable members are often ignored and disliked among the rest. (3b) This also happens when you "revive", or bring a threadthat was packed below other, newer topics (due to lack of replies, or closing statements to end the conversation) is not welcomed by neither member or staff unless a major contribution is added to spark up conversation and/or improvements to said topic. (p) Necro-posting (a.k.a. reviving topics) may result in the locking of the topic[/color], preventing any general member from posting, and [/color]may be considered spamming[/color] depending on your reply. Please post with caution and check dates on the most recent (last) replies before you post.

Advertising: The general sharing of media is welcomed, but easily abused in the same manner. (p) Not following to do so will result in modifying or removal of thread and/or following replies, along with proper punishment; such as temporary-to-permanent removal from the forums may happen to those that contribute to it, and/or the individual(s) that first violated this rule. (4a) A user may violate this rule by advertising illegal programs such as: Hacking programs, Malicious software, and the like. This also applies to the same websites,as especially, Phishing websites or any source that gains uninvited access to individual's computer(s) is strictly prohibited and will be removed. (4b) Another way is by attempting to drive members to another community website, unless it is the official website of said board supported here.An example would be leading Combat Arms players/fans from CombatFPS.com to the Official Nexon Forums, which is the official forums for Combat Arms. Another would be leading users to a Youtube channel, Myspace, Facebook, etc. as long as they are not impersonations to cause previous mentioned illegal activities. (4c) Even though, a form of entertainment, advertising sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited, and related content (p) posted will be immediately removed and will result in being forcibly removed from the forums, usually permanently. (4d) Advertising products is also not allowedunless given strict permission from CombatFPS.com's owner first. Be careful when sharing something, as this website is open to the public to read and gather information, do not share anything that would be along the lines of inappropriate, illegal, and/or pornographic.
